Kayvon & his crew

Inspired by Kayvon, a fictional character in my film/pilot Persians in America — and written from his point of view, and his crew’s. The people on the cover are them. The samovar in the trunk is theirs.

Mixed & mastered

Ableton Live, from the separated stems. Four bass layers, kick-keyed sidechain, parallel saturation for the harmonics that were not in the source.
